
Corvette reintroduced in Gran Sport model range by 2010. The Gran Sport LS3 V8 engine combines the 6.2-liter aluminum body with a widened and sports suspensions.
In the early ’60s, the Corvette engineer Arkus-Duntov decided to lose weight to 5 Corvettes to allocate them to the competition. He decided to assemble them by hand and baptize them with the Grand Sport emblem. In 1996 the company created 1,000 new copies of Grand Sport to recall the output of C06.
Now, Corvette Grand Sport reintroduces its line for 2010. The Gran Sport combines the LS3 engine, a V8 6.2-liter, with an enlarged body and sport suspensions. The V8 LS3 engine generates an output of 430 hp and 575 Nm of torque with the standard exhaust. Optionally, you can mount a dual exhaust system that boosts power to 436 hp and 580 Nm of torque.
The 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will be sold in coupe and cabriolet body with a manual or automatic transmission 6-speed. The Grand Sport Z51 replaces the previous pack with wheels and wider tires 275/35ZR18 (front) and 325/30ZR19 (rear), 355 mm brakes with 6 piston front calipers and 340 mm rear with 4-piston and four levels Termination: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and 4LT. It has a standard electronic traction control and ABS.
The exterior colors are identical to those offered on standard Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport but a pack “Heritage” which is available in two-tone seats with the Grand Sport emblem and several bands of different key near the front wheel arch.
