Tiger Woods is rumoured to be considering a return to competitive golf at the Accenture Matchplay at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Marana, Arizona, this month.
An Australian newspaper has claimed that Woods’s management has been in contact with organisers of the World Golf Championship event, which will be played from Feb 17-21. The BBC say that a “reliable source” has since backed up the Australian report.
It would surprise many if Woods were to return at an Accenture-sponsored event as the company was one of the first to drop him in the aftermath of his sex scandal.
